Template for the prototype, not legal advice. Because Flowbento is South Africa-based with global users, this needs to satisfy POPIA and GDPR/UK-GDPR (and likely CCPA) — have counsel finalise it.

This explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect

Account details you give us — name, email, country, profile bio.
Content you publish — your workflows, steps, prompts and files.
Usage and device data — pages viewed, basic analytics, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we don’t store full card numbers.

2. What we don’t receive

Workflows run inside your own AI tool. The files and data you feed into a workflow — bank statements, health exports, emails — are not sent to or stored by Flowbento.

3. Why we use it

To run your account, process payments and payouts, keep the platform safe, respond to support, and improve the product. We don’t sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate — payment processing, email, hosting and analytics — under contract, plus authorities where the law requires.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under POPIA, GDPR/UK-GDPR or CCPA) you can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to certain processing. Contact privacy@flowbento.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your data-protection regulator (in South Africa, the Information Regulator).

6. Retention & transfers

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Where data is transferred across borders we use appropriate safeguards.
